Charging your Swingbyte 2

The USB port for your Swingbyte 2 is at the top of the device under the white alignment guide, and the charging cable is in the base of the Swingbyte 2 package.

From empty, a full charge will take approximately 4-5 hours, and that will give you about 4 hours of continuous capture with your Swingbyte.

Whenever your Swingbyte is plugged in to charge via USB, the green light on the front of the device will illuminate; there is also a battery indicator in the app that shows current charge level.

I plug my SwingByte unit in and it flashes green and does not stop doing so.  What does this mean?

I’m having the same problem, left plugged in overnight but still flashes.

The app only displays 75% when Swingbyte is fully charged. Should be 100%, right?

I honestly believe this company is out of business, can't get any response from Customer Service, tried sales but nothing there either.  Not sure why they have a website still active if they are now defunct and/or don't support their products.

This is disappointing to hear - I got a replacement unit from Budget Golf and it works fine, but I am not happy to hear that they are either belly up or that inept that they do not support their products.  Wow

    Sounds correct :(

Concerning the observed inaccuracy, I think it has been like this all the time since I bought it a couple of years ago. I just wonder if this is just a software error, or if it actually indicates a battery/charging error. I have not tested exactly how long I can use it before it needs to be recharged. They promise "up to 4 hours” though...

Do your apps ever display 100 %?

I get 100% while plugged in, can power up, etc. however as soon as I unplug it, won’t power on so appears the battery won’t hold a charge.

Interesting to hear.. I get max 84% with the cable attached, once I remove it, the app shows 73%. I guess this is due to a software error of some kind, as I have never experienced any unnormal power loss. I will try to see how long the battery actually lasts under normal use next time I have the chance. I don't expect 4 hours as they say at https://blog.swingbyte.com/post/89226618317/trouble-shooting-quick-tips-for-swingbyte, but at least 3 hours by continous use will be acceptable for me, I think. I don't know if the number of strokes will affect the battery or not.
